The Impulse 8i mk 2 is a dual 18" horn loaded enclosure designed for mid to near field applications. The design incorporates unique rear loading technology to give low frequency extension whilst maintaining an accurate and fast response. It is designed to be used in conjunction with the Impulse 3i or any other high quality mid hi enclosure.
Two very high power 18” transducers utilising 5” coils are V mounted to over 10 feet of horn, which is uniquely folded to fit into the enclosure. The extra long horn length helps in reproducing very low frequencies and keeps the transducers loaded at these very low frequencies.
All Impulse series enclosures are designed to be used with our Digidrive Plus (preset programs supplied)
