The Void Acoustics Live Drive is a fully featured
loudspeaker management processor using the
latest 40-Bit floating point arithmetic. This greatly
reduces the truncation errors that can result from
using 24-Bit fixed point DSPs, which are widely used in the industry today.
Up to eight outputs can be derived from either of the 4 inputs or a sum of any of the 4 inputs. All outputs have HP, BP and LP filters which can be set anywhere between 20 - 20KHz and can have either Bessel, Butterworth or Linkwitz-Riley filters with slopes of up to 48 dB/octave. The transparent sounding output limiters feature adjustable thresholds, attacks and release's to provide maximum protection to loudspeaker drive units. 72 bands of eq are available and can be either parametric or shelving.
The processor can be connected to a PC via RS-232 or networked via RJ-45 to store and exchange setups and for remote control of all processor functions (software supplied)
Applications
Medium to large venues, large scale touring. Theatre and stage productions, conference.
